Juror’s Statement: “There is a great feeling to this painting. It shows very, very good painting. The colors are luminous. There is a nice opposite with the lines and the lines draw you in. I like that the people are in the middle. This breaks a rule but it works. It works because of the heavy line and weight on the right.”
