Meet the Artist
I have a passion to express color, form and texture in acrylic, watercolor or colored pencil. I began art lessons at a young age, inspired by artist-neighbors and teachers while growing up in Shawnee Mission Kansas, Glen Ellyn Illinois, and Lockport New York. I have a BFA in Communication Design from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY, graduating with honors. I have received awards and scholarships throughout my educational and professional experience. Two paintings are in The Best of Colored Pencil, Volume I by Rockport Publishers, Inc.
